Jeevan Care Home Foundation began with a simple decision: to care, support and act.
Jeevan Care Home Foundation was not created from a business plan or an institutional idea. It grew from something much simpler—the experience of seeing people around us struggle with problems that could sometimes be eased if someone simply chose to care, support and act.
Over the years, I have seen elderly people living without adequate care, children whose education was interrupted because their families could not afford it, women who had the ability and determination to move forward but lacked skills and opportunities, and individuals struggling with addiction who needed support to rebuild their lives.
Those experiences made me ask myself one simple question: If we are in a position to help someone, however small that help may be, why should we not begin? That question became the foundation of my journey in social service.
Compassion first
Social service begins by seeing the person before the problem.
Action with purpose
Care becomes meaningful when it leads to practical support and a better next step.
Helping someone through a difficult day matters. Helping them build a better tomorrow matters even more.
Before Jeevan Care Home Foundation formally existed, I tried to help people individually whenever circumstances allowed. Those early experiences taught me that temporary assistance has value, but deeper impact comes when support helps a person move toward education, recovery, skills, livelihood, independence and dignity.
In 2022, this personal commitment took an organised form with the establishment of Jeevan Care Home Foundation.
Immediate Support
When a person is facing a difficult moment, timely assistance can protect health, dignity, education or basic security.
A Better Next Step
Wherever possible, our role should continue beyond relief and open a pathway toward capability, confidence and self-reliance.
Four areas where dignity and opportunity must come together.
Our work has evolved, but the underlying concern remains the same: people should not lose dignity, education or opportunity simply because they are elderly, financially vulnerable, a girl from a constrained family, or a woman without access to skills and livelihood.
Elderly Care
Our elders have spent decades building families, contributing to society and caring for others. When they themselves need support, they deserve more than basic assistance—they deserve dignity, respect, care and the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
Girls’ Education
When a girl has to leave education because her family cannot afford the cost, society loses potential, talent and possibilities. Our aim is not only to help her attend classes, but to help her gain education, confidence, skills and the ability to make her own choices.
Women Empowerment
A woman may have the determination to move forward but still lack training, access or opportunity. Empowerment becomes real when she can develop skills, earn, make decisions and participate in building a stronger future for herself and her family.
Livelihood & Skill Development
Long-term social development cannot depend entirely on charity. Skills, practical training and livelihood opportunities can help individuals move from assistance toward capability and greater economic independence.
Our goal is to move, wherever possible, from assistance to independence.
I strongly believe that sustainable social development cannot depend entirely on charity. Immediate assistance may be necessary during difficult circumstances, but long-term empowerment comes when people develop the ability to support themselves.
This philosophy can be expressed in a simple progression:
Assistance → Opportunity
Support should not stop at relief. It should, wherever possible, open access to education, training, recovery, guidance or livelihood.
Opportunity → Capability → Independence
When opportunity becomes practical ability, confidence and income, people gain greater control over their own future.
A person’s most difficult period should not define their entire future.
Our early work also brought us close to individuals and families affected by substance addiction. Addiction can damage health, relationships, livelihoods and entire families. But I have also seen that with appropriate treatment, support, determination and guidance, people can work toward rebuilding their lives.
I do not believe that a person’s most difficult period should define their entire future. A person willing to change deserves an opportunity to begin again. That belief guided our earlier de-addiction and rehabilitation work and continues to influence the compassionate approach we bring to social service.

Second chances matter
Recovery requires compassion, structure, guidance and the willingness to begin again.
Compassion without judgement
People should be supported as human beings, not permanently defined by their most difficult chapter.
Growth should never cost us the values with which the journey began.
Jeevan Care Home Foundation is still on its journey, and there is much we want to accomplish. In the years ahead, we aspire to strengthen our work in elderly care, girls’ education, women’s empowerment, skill development, livelihood generation, healthcare and community welfare.
But as we grow, I want us never to lose the values with which this journey began.
Remain Compassionate
We must continue to see the human being behind every situation.
Remain Transparent
Trust grows when our work, use of resources and communication are clear and responsible.
Protect Dignity
Every person we serve must be treated with respect, sensitivity and self-worth.
Remember the Human Life
Behind every statistic, report and programme is a person with a real story.
Measure Real Difference
Success should not be counted only by programmes run, but by meaningful change created.
Grow Responsibly
Partnerships, systems and scale should strengthen—not weaken—our original purpose.
Social change cannot be created by one person or one organisation alone.
It requires people who care—volunteers who give their time, professionals who share knowledge, organisations that contribute expertise, CSR partners who invest in meaningful social initiatives, donors who make programmes possible, and communities that participate in creating change.
Support Education
You may help a child continue her education and gain the confidence and skills needed to shape her own future.
Care for an Elder
You may help an elderly person receive care, essential support and the dignity of knowing they have not been forgotten.
Create Skills & Livelihood
You may help a woman or family access training, skills or a practical livelihood opportunity.
Share Time or Expertise
You may volunteer your time, professional knowledge, network or organisational capability to strengthen responsible social action.

As Founder of Jeevan Care Home Foundation, my commitment is that we will continue striving to serve with compassion, responsibility, dignity, transparency and respect.
